Discourse AI now supports OpenAI image generation and editing using the gpt-image-1 API.
- Create and edit images using OpenAI’s latest models (gpt-image-1).
- New “Designer” persona supports detailed prompting and editing workflows.
- Two tools: create_image (generate from prompt) and edit_image (modify an existing upload by description).
- Images are stored as uploads in Discourse—easy to share and reuse.
- Works with standard OpenAI and Azure endpoints.
